Our Pastor:
Rev Stephen Agilinko
I was called here in July 2004 and have exercised pastoral oversight since. My emphasis has been
on creating a 'body ministry' in which all and sundry can contribute to ministry through the use of their gifts and talents.
This emphasis reflects my own philosophy of ministry in which I clearly understand the biblical teaching
on the 'priesthood of all believers' and the complete absence of a clerical hierarchy or elite in the Church.
Instead, all of us have been given gifts and talents that we can use as responsible members of the
'household of God' which is the Church.
I intend to preach, teach and organise the Church in the future with the help of other leaders in
such a way that will make for mutual edification and growth.
In addition to this, I will continue to emphasize the fact that as a Church i.e. as Christians,
we have been called to a life of separation from the world in order to belong exclusively to God. The implications of this
on our lives as Christians is that we have to be wary of the corrupting influence of our world, culture and environment.
For this reason, the Christian life is one of separation i.e one that recognises that we are in the
world but are not part of the world, a life of holiness and commitment to the Lord who died to make us His own. All Christians
have to strive through the grace of God to be the 'salt' and the 'light' of the world.
I am very passionate about these ideals of the Christian life and will continue to encourage all
Christians to cultivate them.
We see the church as an integral part of the community of Tottenham in the London Borough of Haringey.
We are well placed to provide much needed services to the local community through our weekly programmes that includes
a range of activities and support network to the young, youth, elderly and families.

The future
We recognise like, our predecessors, that the life blood of the church rest in the development of our
young people, to prepare them for their future roles within the community.
We have a vibrant multicultural community and a growing Youth Department, which we must encourage,
equip and mentor to be positive role models for their community, through the grace of our Lord and Saviour.
We welcome new members wanting to worship and use their God given gifts and skills to help the church in ministering to
the community. Particulary within the Youth Department.
