| The Old Memorial Hall |
Building for the future
Our memorial hall, built in 1886 at a cost of £3673.00 has been closed since December 2006
because the structure has become unsafe for public use. The old hall
was finally demolished in July 2009 and will be replaced with a new purpose built hall which will enable us to
extend and expand our range of services to the community.
We here at West Green Baptist Church believe that the examples set by our predecessor (their faith ,their
vision and dedication) applies to us today, in order to prepare the way for the generations to come. If you are interested in helping, we invite you to join with us in
this project.
The Project
The Memorial Hall Building Project was officially launched in July 2000. We have undertaken all the preliminary
works and are now seeking funding from members ,friends, Charities and other financial institutions.
The new building will provide improved:
disabled access, disabled toilets, children's toilet, kitchen facilities, play areas and meeting rooms. The cost of
the new Community Hall is £500,000.00

Re-launch event 3.10.09
There was a a building project relaunch event on Saturday 3rd
October 09. Guest Speaker was the President of the BU - Rev Kingsley Appiagyei, who attended
with his wife and gave a wonderful message of hope and faith in realising God's plans for our community project.
The event was also supported by our local MP David Lammy. The event proved to be a wonderful afternoon of thanksgiving and we were able to raise over £3000.00,
with pledges to support the project, given by individuals.
Also joining in the Thanksgiving Event were our special
guests from Manipur, India, Rev Asong Leivon and his wife.
MP David Lammy gave his support to the project
and the prospects of providing better facilities to the community of Tottenham.

This phase of the project will take 9 weeks
to complete. We are still appealing for funds to continue the further phases of the build.
Please continue to pray
for the successful completion of this project.
